UX Designer & Researcher with a passion for creating meaningful experiences.

Intro

I transformed my career from digital project management and web analytics to UX research and design. Through intensive UX training and academic pursuits in psychology, I've honed the skills to bridge digital expertise with cognitive psychology. With diverse experiences across various sectors and a deep passion for music, my journey has come full circle in my role at Neural DSP.

Freelance UX researcher & designer
04/2020 - 02/2018

At Neural DSP, I serve as a Senior UX Researcher, driving user-centered design across a diverse range of projects. My work spans multiple product lines, including the revolutionary Quad Cortex, as well as various plugins. I employ a comprehensive research approach, conducting moderated remote usability tests, unmoderated usability tests, in-person and remote interviews, and surveys to gain deep insights into user behavior and preferences. Notably, I established Neural DSP's research panel, which now comprises over 3000 customers with carefully crafted profiles, enabling swift and efficient recruitment for our research initiatives.

Worked as a UX Researcher & Designer at ChemAxon the leading software company for chemistry & biology. I supported the product development of the chemical sketcher, called Marvin PRO. Imagine it as Figma but for chemists.

As a UX Researcher & Designer at Fintechlab, the CEE region’s leading design and innovation lab for MKB Bank, I worked on the bank’s updated ATM interfaces and mobile banking experience.

As a freelancer/contracted UX Researcher and Designer I advised over 20 different clients' UX strategy. By using the Double Diamond design methodology (discover, define, develop, deliver) I successfully determine the research tasks (user interviews, stakeholder interviews, desk research, etc.) and after understanding, analyzing the as-is situation and processing the research outcomes I move on to design (wireframe & prototype) possible solutions for the given problem.

My CV

As for my education I have two Master’s. One in Psychology (Cognitive Sciences Specialization) and another in Communications & Media studies.

I held a variety of professional positions at advertising agencies where I’ve been responsible for delivering everything from micro-sites, large scale portals, mobile apps to different campaigns as a project manager and digital strategist.

During these times I was already fascinated by how UX projects are set up. The mindset of ‘people first’ and the complexity and problem solving focus of user experience design really had an impact on me.

By reading about the domain, and finishing a 3 month project based intensive UX design course I successfully transitioned my career to become a full time experience designer. To deepen my knowledge on human behaviour I started to study Psychology in 2017 and finished my BA program in 2021 June.

I’m working in a fully remote position from Budapest, Hungary, but willing to relocate.
